Jakob Obleser
Jakob Obleser (he/him) is a double bass player, improviser and occasional composer
based in Leipzig, Germany. With his warm sound, catchy groove and openness for
honesty and experimental ideas, he rose to be an important part of the young german jazz
scene. Integral ideas to his playing are transparency of sound, rhythmic excitement and
making everybody on and off stage feel at home and heard. His current favourite musical
artists are Heta Bilaletdin and Maurice II.
