“This album emerged from an interest in exploring different compositional techniques, in dialogue with poems by Emily Brontë (England, 1818-1848), Alejandra Pizarnik (Argentina, 1936-1972), Anne Carson (Canada, 1950) and Robin Myers (USA, 1987).
Nature, love, death, loneliness, identity, madness, desire, pain, loss, longing, family, language, memory. Each poem revealed a universe of its own, inviting me to explore diverse timbres and instrumentation.
The experience was deeply enriching and resulted in this eclectic work, which I am pleased to share, in the hope that it will stimulate the imagination of the listener.“
