constanza pellicci

Constanza Pellicci is a vocalist and improviser from Córdoba, Argentina. She studied music and vocal training and obtained a degree as choir conductor. She has also studied philosophy at the National University of Córdoba and continue studying a master degree in contemporary artistic practices at the University of San Martín, Buenos Aires. Parallel to her academic education, she has kept on training in singing, dance, performance, somatic techniques in independent workshops with national and international artists. She sattended artistic residencies at the Roy Hart Theater, France, at the Taan Teatro Company in Brazil and in Centro de arte Sonoro – Caso in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has received art grants from The Argentine National Fund for Arts, The Botín Foundation, The International University of Andalusia, The Golondrinas Programme and the Obrar Programme.  She has been developing her work with human voice in performances, videos and installations integrating different aspects of her interdisciplinary training and participating in arts exhibitions, biennials, festivals and concerts of experimental and improvised music. She has recorded experimental and improvised music albums and released them on the labels Sudamericana Electronica, INB and Golden Monkey Records. She has played concerts and recorded improvised music with Maximo Endreck, Ignacio Roulet, Renzo Filinich, Pablo Cécere, Paula Shocron, Ensamble Leim, Berenice Llorens, Pablo Díaz, Ana Gonzalez Gamboa, Luciana Bass, Leonel Kaplan, Simone Weissenfes. As an artist, researcher and teacher, she experiments and explores the possibilities of human voice in scene. She works in different educational institutions with children and older adults. At the same time, she teaches singing lessons and voice workshops independently.
