Beatrice Arrigoni

Singer, improviser, composer, performer, Beatrice has a master degree in Jazz Singing and in Italian Modern Literature. Her projects are located in the sphere of creative music on the borderline between contemporary jazz, experimental music, songwriting, improvisation and composition, and they are linked to an expressive research dedicated to a dialogue with poetry and to a creative work on voice. She participated in lots of national and international jazz-impro workshops, for example “Istantanee” organised by Fondazione Cini in Venice (2021), and a workshop on vocal improvisation and electronics conducted by Valèrie Philippin at Ircam in Paris (2023). She studied improvisation with Stefano Battaglia and vocal technique with baroque singer Elena Carzaniga. She published her original projects Innerscape and Terrestre – with her quartet –, My River runs to thee and Nel Canto Presente alongside drummer Fabrizio Carriero. She is involved as a performer in the theatrical work “Raminghe”, and she is a member of many projects of original music as a singer and improviser (Andrea Grossi’s Songs and Poems, Matteo Lorito’s A Brief History of Time, Questo Tempo with Nazareno Caputo, Stefano Battaglia, Luca Di Battista, On The Move with Michele Bonifati). Over the years, she has performed in Italy, France and Switzerland, within many festivals of jazz and experimental music. She was mentioned in the magazine “Percorsi Musicali” as one of the emerging singers in the field of experimental and improvised in Italy, and in 2025 she was awarded as one of the best italian talents in the Musica Jazz’s traditional “TOP JAZZ” referendum. Her album Terrestre is selected as part of “Nuova Generazione Jazz 2026”, a program that promotes a tour in Italy and abroad.
